Remmy Bahati is a Ugandan-born multimedia journalist based in the United States. She holds a Master of Science degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and has established herself as a prominent voice on African politics, racial injustice, and press freedom. In the past, her work has been published by major international outlets such as Al Jazeera, BBC, The New York Times, UN Passblue, Daily Monitor, Columbia News Service and TRT World. She previously worked for Law360, monitoring Congress, Federal and State Courts, and had won several awards for her courageous reporting on human rights. She continues to bridge global narratives as a Global Communicator at the United Nations, dedicated to advancing regional stability and media transparency.
